Q: How do I add my own media to SmugMug?
A:Due to the sensitivity of the information, please follow the instructions within the SmugMug section of the SoN Intranet Additional Service Information page (UW NetID Required).
Q: What’s the main difference between the galleries and folders?
A: Folders are “top level containers,” meaning they can hold up to five sublayers of other folders, galleries, or pages. Galleries, on the other hand, are made up of one level.
Q: I’ve finished adding media to SmugMug, though I’m unsure if I should select “done” or “publish.” What’s the difference between the two?
A: Pressing “done” will allow you to save and safely leave SmugMug without losing your progress. However, it’s important to remember that while your work is saved, others won’t be able to see it until you select “publish.” Once published (you can only publish something once) your work will be able to be seen by everyone.
